Claudia grew up at her grandmother’s Haute Couture atelier
and has been “breathing” fashion from an early age.
Using pearls from a broken necklace, her creative passion led
her to combine them with glass beads and design her first bracelet
at the tender age of thirteen.
Claudia continued to be fascinated with fashion and textures.
Wishing to extend her knowledge of the different facets of this
industry, she graduated with a merchandising and marketing degree
and dedicated the next five years to thorough fieldwork –
from retail, to importing, to manufacturing.
Frequent professional travels exposed Claudia to new cultural
landscapes, exciting raw materials, and inspiring architecture
that left her with strong impressions. She then realized that
time has come to follow her fervent desire to create and thus
in 2003, with the support of her mother and associate Elynn,
Claudia’s Accessories was born.
Claudia’s creations are a synthesis of art and fashion.
They combine quality materials such as gold, silver, leather,
exotic wooden beads, semi-precious gem stones and the finest
CRYSTALLIZED™ Swarovski elements into iconic compositions
that were featured in hundreds of leading fashion magazines
and dressed Rebecca Romijn for her recent film ‘The Con
Artist’. The entire line is skillfully handcrafted in
Canada under careful production control.
Claudia’s designs are created with today’s independent
and active woman in mind. The innovative “Detachables”
collection displays pieces that can be worn in a number of ways
– a necklace becomes a belt, an earring detaches and transforms
– enabling an always original and suitable look from day
to night. “Many of us follow a very busy lifestyle yet
want to look great and dressed for the occasion in a flash.
The ‘Detachables’ are versatile pieces that let
us to do just that; they are playful and practical at the same
time and allow women to reinvent their appearance instantly.”
says Claudia and adds: “ in such an economy nothing does
the trick as efficiently as quality designer jewelry with a
statement. It dresses you up or down as you wish and updates
any outfit with a fashion-forward touch”.
Claudia, a recipient of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Award and a declared “IT GIRL” by FASHION magazine,
is currently presenting her most recent collection: “SCARVZ”,
a never before seen concept literally fusing jewelry and fashion.
The limited collection has blown buyers away and is becoming
a “must have” amongst all fashionistas.
